Is this not bullying? Reminds us of the time the American government threatened South Africa in 2015 regarding this poultry dispute.
In a free world, shouldn’t countries be free to decide for themselves the currency in which they transact? Especially since the US enjoys a certain a privileged position in which their currency has been the global reserve currency for decades, and that fact alone has given the US economy immense advantages. And so you’d think that such a privilege would come with a sobering responsibility for US government leaders to be fair and mindful, and not abuse their dominant position.

Because this kind of combative language does not suggest strategic bargaining as some people seem to think Trump is doing, but an American administration that in all likelihood will use bullying and coercion to force everyone else to do its bidding.
Frankly it sounds like something you’d hear from a dictatorship, and not the incoming leader of …’the land of the free’.
