This is an issue that I have written about several times on this blog, and which lots of other people have flagged up.

There has to be several ways in which across Africa we begin to train our people on how to successfully pass on the baton to the next generation. And how to ensure that those young people who stand to inherit value from the older generations are properly trained to be able to manage that value. It means being able to treasure that generational wealth, so as to not only preserve it, but also grow it into something much bigger.

That, I believe, is the mindset shift that Vusi Thembekwayo is talking about.
